HACKER DRILL COLLAR HARDBANDING permits the drill collar to withstand wear for a greater period of time and to maintain gauge OD downhole, thus providing top performance and longer drill collar life. This extended life of hardbanded drill collars offers savings through fewer replacements, as well as in make-up, break-out and handling. Hardbanding is flush to 1/32" greater than the drill collar OD. Hardbanding is an optional feature subject to customer specification.
