HACKER UNDERREAMERS feature a 4140 alloy heat treated steel body. The piston and piston nozzel cap are 4140 alloy steel with a carbon insert which fits into the nozzel cap and has a 3/4" hole for fluids. Reamer blades are made from T-1 steel with tungsten carbide hard facing on cutting blades.

Our standard Underreamers are made in 3 sizes, with other sizes available on request.

The 375 x 11 Reamer is 33/4 OD x 26" long. It can run from 8" to 11" with top connection 23/8" l.F. box. (Not shown)

The 575 x 24 Reamer is 53/4" OD x 54 1/2" long. It can run from 6" to 24" with top connection 4" H-90 box.

The 775 x 24 Reamer is 73/4" OD x 62" long. It can run from 8" to 36" with top connection 6 5/8" API regular box.

The Hacker Underreamer is designed for soft formations and/or air drilling. Both the 575 and 775 provide positive blade opening indication even in the softer formations.
